Amoeba Records

Amoeba, a ferociously independant record store in LA, has decided to move into the 21st century with the launching of a record label and a digital store in the near future. There story was told in a recent LA Times article, great read.

    Amoeba started in Berkley and they’re big store is in SF come check them out here.

    Amoeba is quite solid. Compared to any other music store I’ve visited there are quite a bit like the walmart of low priced and hard to find records. They have lots of good free shows, as well. I’ve seen Against Me!, Eisley and Hot Hot Heat there in the last 4 months.
