Dirty rock, production residing behind songwriting (but in a good way), and swanky in ways that make the boys jealous. See, Shesus is 3/4 female, and not that this should be a selling point, but it’s something worth mentioning. The seven tracks here sound more like worn vinyl than a polished CD, but it works well with guitars soaked in reverb, melodies dripping with snot, and excellent songwriting. In all, Ruined it For You is a lesson is honest rock and roll, all the while avoiding the countless cliche’s that tons of other bands are milking.
