Sufjan Stevens in Seventeen Magazine
A coworker of mine relayed to me that the latest issue of Seventeen Magazine has listed Sufjan Stevens as an up-and-coming artist to watch.
Does that mean we have to start hating him now? I sure hope not.

Eh, his fanbase couldn’t get much dumber than his OC exposure. Most of the casual fans like that wait too late to buy tickets, either way.

wasn’t death cab featured in 17 a long time ago? isn’t the wyoming record finished? it’s like 77 minutes of the sound of wind blowing.

That’s the last thing I would want. Not because they’re 17-year-old girls, but because they’re the ones that encourage record companies to churn out complete crap to make a buck. I don’t want that to happen to Sufjan.
