Authorities in Denver are warning users of the file sharing program Limewire that they are in danger of becoming a victim of an identity theft scam. The warning came after a search of a Denver Limewire users apartment turned up 75 documents from Businesses all over the country on the users hard drive. No details on how Limewire was being exploited have been released. (link, Aversion)
I had the warning scam from Lime wire just after anti virusing my computer-I was advised by Limewire to download the new basic after uninstalling the old. After the download I thought I`d better Anti-Virus the new Basic prog. All the Lime.exe and all files were clean and then I remembered the file limewire used on my computer was the file “Shared” and there they were two deadly virus which AVG sorted out. God bless AVG ! What is going on at Limewire?

You’ve been able to find all kinds of shit like that on Limewire for years. Emails, resumes, spreadsheets etc. People are stupid and save important docs in folders that Limewire shares by default.
Fair trade for investing yer precious time stealing shit. Damn babies.
Lime Wire put an authorized charge on my debit card. I repeatedly tried to contact them via email on their web site — but kept getting error messages. There’s no phone or address. I’ve never heard of these people — yet somehow they managed to get my card number. They stink of identity theft.
Fair trade.
What I’ll never show
