In an interview with bandsonfire.com, Josh from The Showdown had this to say in response to the questions raised in this episode of Scene Points about the tatoos on his arms:
“I would never need to play in a jazz band…?! I mean, the thing is, what dude with Heavy Metal (!!) tattooed on his arms is gonna be in a jazz band?! :-)”
I was just wondering when you’d get back to work and make another one of these videos…
You are taking it too easy these days…
nice one. dude, if you end up doing more on the print end and need any design or layout done, this would be right up my alley.
HA. Heavy metal. I love you Seth.
once again, i want your balls

I hope it’s a Chipotle burrito. Those things are really good.
Burrito!

The burrito crack was hilarious…it seems the audio does not match up with the video, at least on my computer.
the little 2006 wrap-up/retrospective got me teary eyed. i’ll see YOU next year, Seth
Nice ‘emo’ Scenepoints image on the top right. That’s so myspace of you!
Hey, at least it’s not some lame bathroom mirror shot! jerk! hahah… besides, emo kids don’t smile, they sulk.
I dont think The Showdown sounds the same…so are they still heavy (enphasis on heavy) metal?

YOU SHOULD DO A COOKING SHOW!!!!!!

i heard the new showdown, it blows
The Showdown don’t scream/growl on their new stuff. As far as I’m corncerned, the jury’s still out on whether they’re better or worse now.
