Man Must Die signed to Relapse Records. The Glasgow, Scotland band’s US debut, titled The Human Condition is due out May 2007.
Going Home signed to hometown record label Eyeball Records. The power-pop quartet recently posted the new demo for Say Goodbye and are in the process of booking a spring tour.
Victory Records announced another technological first for the record label: VictorStream. From the press release:

Death By Stereo and Love Equals Death have agreed to do a six-song split CD on Reignition for release this summer. Death By Stereo also released a new skatedeck this week.

Sony BMG has withdrawn a Deep Purple album after complaints from lead singer Ian Gillan that it had been released without his knowledge. Deep Purple’s last album, part of their 30-year anniversary of playing hard rock, was titled Rapture of the Deep and released on Eagle Records. Sony BMG still holds most of the band’s classic catalogue.
The Sound Of Animals Fighting will be releasing a DVD entitled We Must Become The Change We Want To See on Apr 17. The DVD was shot during their four appearances at the House Of Blues last August. According to the press release, 2000 copies will be released at Hot Topic and any remaining will be released through the band’s online store.
YouTube and Wind-up Records, a division of Wind-up Entertainment Inc., said that a majority of its music videos will be shown on the site legally according to the press release. Wind-up Records roster includes Evanesence, Finger Eleven, Scott Strapp, Creed and others.
