This 9-year-old boy beat that Guitar Hero Dragonforce song, Through the Fire and Flames, on Expert with 95% accuracy. I can’t even beat it on Medium. Sigh.
i don’t remember any old school arcade champs being kick ass guitarists because of it. the old street fighter (and most fighting games) arcade setup would lend itself to dexterity and speed, too. but it’s not the same as playing a guitar.
just because the buttons happen to be on something that is supposed to resemble a guitar doesn’t mean that it has anything to do with the skills needed to play guitar.
and in no way is this controller related to a guitar in real life. its closest relation is a midi interface because thats all it is inside a guitar form.
yeah, Im a guitarist and I cant play this game to save my life, it seems fun, the best part is that all those crappy bands that just make the same album as everyone else in there “scene” can just by this game, or rock band and just do that instead of wasting space at the record store 1/2 price bin
if he doesnt play guitar for real, he needs to start trying.
why? there’s almost no overlap between guitar hero and actually playing guitar. even slash said so.
i thought it would be easier for me to learn how to play the game because i played guitar. that actually made it harder.
I bow to his “melt your face off” skills.
I’ve done better.
yeah but the dexterity and finger speed wont hurt him if he ever tries to learn how to play for real
The great Guitar Hero debate: will his “guitar” skills mean that he’ll never get laid or will he get all sorts of action?
I mean, when he’s of age, of course.
“the dexterity and finger speed won’t hurt him if he ever tries to learn how to play for real”
- this is the logic I used when deciding to play professional football after absolutely KILLING people in Madden. Now I type with my tongue and nose.
it won’t hurt him, but it won’t help him either.

That’s fine that this runt can beat me at a video game.
I make more money in one day than he has made in his lifetime.
Jay, that reminds me of the line from the movie Bottle Rocket.
-Grace thinks I’m a failure.
-What? What has she ever accomplished in her life that’s so great?
Kids got mad skills.
WTF? I didn’t know you could hammer the neck! I need to read the instructions.
seriously…the double handed tapping is no fair…i never knew about that.
Dude plus…I have a hard time even beating that freaking Slayer song on easy mode!
this doesn’t really count as mucis news or worthless opinion, now if he was doing psychobilly freakout, then, then i could see it being worth it.
I bet I’ve slept with more women than he has though.
my bro is 7 and can do that shit big deal

I’m gonna say this so Jay doesn’t have to.
Ryan, p0sT Pr00f N0wz!!!
yeah, but can he play real guitar. GUITAR HERO IS FOR NERDS WHO CAN’T PLAY THE REAL THING!
I know.
This kid needs to get laid.
i agree with jay. if the kid is almost 10 and hasn’t gotten laid, then something is very wrong.
“i agree with jay…” Correction, your agree with Cardenio.
We said two different things.
LOL

i think this is the same kid that DID the psychobilly freakout. look it up on youtube. it has to be.
Jay, FTW (that’s right Seth, I stole your line)
