Dobi Has Yourscenesucks News


Rob Dobi — proprietor of Fullbleed and illustrator extraordinaire — has some treats for us. He has updated www.yourscenesucks.com, his personal sounding board for making fun of hip (and not so hip) kids, with previews of eight new scenesters and claims a book is coming up later this month.

If you aren’t down with yourscenesucks…well, your scene sucks (too easy, I know).

    However I do make experimental black metal and in my spare time write/record pop songs. I also run a cdr record label that releases everything from noise to folk.

    I’m currently wearing LL Beans boat shoes, a pair of boring Levis, a white t-shirt, and a jean jacket that has a Carcass back patch.

    I don’t feel as I’m as easily pinpointed as the “scenesters” on that site. Maybe I’m the “scenester” who has a wife, goes to school full time, works at a web help desk, and has a passion for music.
