Radiohead Denies Starbucks Rumor

Thom Yorke has issued a statement in response to the rumors that Radiohead signed with Starbucks-owned label Hear Music.

“Radiohead are currently in the studio working on their next record … They are not negotiating a new record deal with anyone, and will not even consider how to release their new music until the album is finished. The rumor that they are about to sign with Starbucks is totally untrue.”

The key phrase in that quote is “are about to.” They aren’t denied anything other than the fact that they aren’t about to.

Dude, this is 1 year and 4 months old. It’s unnecessary to post in this thread.

Either way, Radiohead didn’t sign to Starbucks’ record label. In fact, Starbucks is getting out of the music business all together.
