Secret & Whisper Sign To Tooth And Nail

Though there’s no offical word from label or from the band, Secret & Whisper, have signed to Tooth & Nail records. (Indievision noticed the band on T&N’s band listing.)

Oh and I remember them too. I would laugh when it would group all these up and comming hard bands from Solidstate into the Nu-Metal or Hardcore category and then it would like say sounds like: Tool, Maryln Manson, Korn

The worst now adays are the sounds like things that come on all cd’s these days. If its got a breakdown or scream then sing type vocal in the cd ANYWHERE it says on a littles sticker on the cover: For fans of As I lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God. LOL

the best one i saw was at a mom and pop christian place in iowa. “emery - recommended if you like the beautiful mistake.” i guess we were the satanic band that christian kids shouldn’t have been listening to! it made me laugh.

I think with better recordings these guys will be a good addition to T&N. The probably haven’t made the official announcement yet because T&N doesn’t want to promote music they didn’t record and release.

I remember listening to these guys before they signed to T&N, and their sound just really annoyed me, but I’m sure there are scene kidds somewhere who will rep this band. They are definately nothing new or impressive. I don’t think they’re solid enought for any serious praise. And T&N has signed some really awesome bands: Anberlin, Underoath, these bands OWN, who cares about S&W…just a bunch of sceners who will prob end up on a stage at Warped.

Some of the comments about their singer are not necessary. It is extremely hard to sing in the range he does, and if you don’t like it then get over yourself and don’t listen to this type of music.

And they are not Saosin clones.. they pull off songs that Saosin never could like ‘Werewolves’ and ‘Great White Whale’.

I’m not saying you have to like this band, but they are more talented and creative than most people here are giving them credit for.

And as a footnote, SF59 is FAR from dead…their latest work in their very best, and I’ve been listening since BEFORE their debut was released.
