Suicide Silence Video Banned

Suicide Silence’s video for their song The Price of Beauty has been banned by MTV.

They won’t allow for any re-edits or audio censoring. It’s officially been “blacklisted” so you won’t be seeing this thing on Headbanger’s Ball ever.

I will say one thing: I’m glad that “death-core” bands like The Red Chord, Despised Icon, and Through The Eyes Of The Dead are becoming the new “metal-core”, i.e. I like those bands better than Haste The Day, As I Lay Dying, etc. At least the quasi-mainstream is recognizing some more interesting bands.
