Tiebreaker - A Minor Miracle

TiebreakerElectronics, acoustic guitars and the buzzing brain of John LaMonica form A Minor Miracle. You might know John from his time in The Polyphonic Spree, or My Spacecoaster, so this material isn’t such a surprise to some, as he’s been doing this for awhile. As a result, A Minor Miracle could be one of the finer reminders of 2007.

While frank at times, and sometimes downright weird, Tiebreaker pulls together so many thoughts and melodies that before you know it you’ve listened to the album three times. From the upbeat Sweet Memory to the grand Winter Roads, this is a must-have for fans of LaMonica and/or fans of acoustic/electronic albums.

I’m working through the EP right now to see if I want to buy the full album.
I remember seeing Tiebreaker in Dallas 5 years ago. Glad some of the material is finally seeing the light of day.
