A Grand Design: Rosematter

I’m very much into this band’s sound, but this design looks a bit incomprehensible and fruity in many different senses of the word. Their nicely-designed myspace continues this sugar cereal-colored theme with promo photos, with a simple Flash animation right at the top of the page.

PS – That bright flash that vocalist Katie shoots from her hands means that you’re now gay.

Their myspace picture makes me think they are some kind of new saved by the bell type of sitcom. The band looks too happy and shiny.

I’m gonna go ahead and say they sound a LOT like Paramore… but with more talent…

I’m going to go ahead and say that the chick sings EVERY vocal part including her own harmonies. Kind of lame not to mention it makes for an awful live show. When will bands stop over producing to cover up their lameness.

I know man, so lame. Those recordings last forever, but why make it sound as good as possible when you play live sets lasting 30-45 minutes?

worst album cover ever. they sound like every other band trying to make it that is marginally talented. but they won’t…
