Across Five Aprils Angry Over Leak, Threaten Lawsuit

So Across Five Aprils post some new tunes and they’re hyped that their fans are into them. But, uh oh!

“but as these things go, it turns out some songs of ours have been leaked already. we don’t even know how this shit happens, but it’s already done.”

They then link to the kid, chrisX519, and say, “let that prick know we are not cool with this shit.”

So of course some banter goes back and forth, and it turns out the Across Five Aprils guys do know “how this shit happens,” as mentioned above:

“we know for sure it was him.. he did it in a real shitty way.. we were allhanign out on the buss and we let him hear it cause he was being cool at the time… he snuck behind our back to steal the only copy of the record that exists … victory is a machine.. they havent sent out 1 single promo copy and wont till feb 19th… he has already addmitted to us he stole it.. and doesnt care at all..”

OMG. This kid doesn’t care. Like, at all. Can you believe that? So what happens next?

Got that? Posting MP3s brings out the Victory Records lawyers (they’re busy these days, I hear). And the brilliant comments:

“At least you could wait until the CD was released but even still that’s not cool.”

It really is to their advantage though, cuz if fans hear it before it’s released and they like it, they will often buy it as soon as it’s released.
