Andrew Bird will be whistling his way through the US beginning in late January with Loney, Dear (except for Carnegie Hall, which will feature Bird and Dosh).
In case anyone was wondering, there is a “Sean’s birthday” angle to all of this. It’s here. Thursday is the big day, after all.

I love me some Andrew Bird. I discovered him when he opened for Nickel Creek about 3 years ago and ever since I’ve wanted to see him do a headlining set.
It’s Loney, Dear rather than Lonely, Dear.
I know, I don’t get it either.
I would kill to see Andrew Bird and Loney, Dear together. Two of the best musicians on the planet, and they’re coming nowhere near Indiana. Of course.
nuts, i knew it was loney, dear. i even typed out the myspace right. not sure why i didn’t notice i had it wrong in the actual text. thanks for the catch. fixed now.
and i would kill to see them together, too. but i have the same problem. coming nowhere near here. andrew bird slayed when i saw him at the musicnow fest this past year, and i can imagine it would be that much better with the two of them on the same bill.
