Corey Taylor Says Slipknot Not At Fault For Stabbing Spree

Corey Taylor of Slipknot comments on the insane stabbings by some kid “dressed up like Slipknot.”

“I know our message is actually very positive… I used to sweat it really hard,” he adds. “But the thing I have to realize is the fact that I’m not encouraging anybody to kill anybody. I encourage our fans to express themselves, to stick together and to help each other.”

Simon from No Rock and Roll Fun chimes in:

“… if you don’t want to find yourself being asked awkward questions about stabbings, perhaps you shouldn’t dress up a serial killers and throw entrails about in the first place? If you’re serious about shining a light into the darkest areas of the human psyche, why do you squeal and go into hiding when it gets reflected back?”
