Sure, it’s no surprise that the guy behind a former Suicide Squeeze band (Page France) would put out a record on the same label with his new project. However, Mike Nau’s Cotton Jones Basket Ride isn’t just putting out a full-length on Suicide Squeeze. Cotton Jones is also putting out stuff on Quite Scientific and Velvet Blue Music in the near future.
Who does Nau think he is… Robert Pollard or something?

the Archery EP is great.
it comes in a bound book with charcoal drawings and the lyrics. definitely worth the $10.
is this song from the out of print self-titled EP or is it going to be on the full length (it’s not on the Archery EP)?
i think mike said it was going to be on a future release, but i’m not sure which. i know he’s also doing something with velvet blue at some point. so it could be that or the upcoming full-length.

The song is from a future release. It wasn’t on the Cotton Jones Basket Ride EP or on the Archery EP. I think it’s from Rio Ranger, which should be coming out on Ann Arbor’s Quite Scientific label.

could you please give me the tracklisting of the self-titled ep?
it’s nowhere to be found on any officially related websites (by me anyways) and i see CJBR songs on various blogs, etc, that are not on Archery. so I don’t know if these are tracks from the S-T EP or some tracks they just happened to put on Myspace.
in case anyone else wanted to know - i finally tracked down the info from a Pitchfork news item.
