Emos For Obama

Hope for the swoop.

If you’re an emo and into Obama, show your pride with this “Emo For Obama” pin, officially sanctioned by the Democratic party. Also of interest to left-leaning Buzzgrinder readers are pins for beard growers, mohawk enthusiasts, and… hipsters.

I’m not an Obama supporter but this is smart campaigning, even if it is meant or regarded with tongue firmly planted in cheek. What do you think?

I think the Emo one is very creative and cool looking… (mostly because they used an actual picture of Barack and make him look “emo”) the other ones all look kind of lame imho. I would not be surprised if a number of these are sported by bands and fans at shows between now and November.

Actually, you should read some interviews with him. He doesn’t believe Christ is the only way, and that’s what true Christianity is. I can’t judge his heart, but what he professes isn’t actually Christianity.

I look at the interviews he did, how he called his old pastor “a close spiritual mentor” before, and then when stuff hit the fan, he kind of backed away from him, where’s the fellowship in that?
