FUSE Is Looking For Losers For New Television Show
Once again a music television channel (in this case, FUSE) attempts to be edgy and cool and hip and comes off looking desperate. When writing copy for the 18-28 demographic, try not to treat them like teeny boppers.
Do you adore musicians and love people with musical talent?
Do you find yourself attracted to the emo-sensitive guy, or the blinged out rapper, or the pierced and tattooed metal head??!
Have you ever wanted to date one of them?
Are you serious? Who is the socially inept loser that responds to this garbage? Instead of asking “Do you adore musicians?” you could also ask, “Do you like supporting broke-ass losers who dream of making it big?” That might work a little better.
I can’t wait to see the quality television program that comes out of this, and the ensuing press releases I’ll get asking me to post the air times.

fuse sucks now, all they show are movies and lame shows… the only time they show music is either early in the morning or really late at night. its pretty much like mtv now.

They ran Ergo Proxy about a year ago, which is an AWESOME series. But it was usually on late at night to compete with Adult Swim, and they ditched it =(
