HORSE The Band Drummer Arrested?
This is from the AbsolutePunk RSS feed, so take with a grain of salt: Is HORSE The Band in trouble again?
“We apologize for the show ending early. The drummer for HORSE the band was arrested for undisclosed reasons – that’s why they were unable to play. The band chose not to give refunds to their fans, as they need that money for bail and other expenses attached with possibly having to cancel any of their upcoming tour dates.”
Holy crap — back in July, I joked that their new drummer, Daniel Pouliot, liked being arrested.

Not refunding tickets so they can post bail? That’s gracious, eh?

The guy who wrote “The band chose not to give refunds to their fans, as they need that money for bail and other expenses attached with possibly having to cancel any of their upcoming tour dates.” is either the promoter or getting his information from the promoter. Choosing to refund the fans had nothing to do with HORSE. HORSE had a contract with the promoter and he was obligated to pay them. On top of that, I won’t even bother going into too much detail about the venue, but I’ll leave you with this one: there were people monitoring the lyrics for the sake of the children. That’s a promoter failing to do his job and not providing an appropriate concert atmosphere. After the show, the promoter wrote some bullshit like the quote I used earlier to make it seem like HORSE the Band was to blame.

Um, thanks for the update. As you can see, we were all standing on the edge of our seats for that one.
