Jerry Roush of Sky Eats Airplane was surprised by the positive review the band got in Alternative Press:

“They usually cut bands down. A lot of my friends’ bands, I go and see what their album reviews are, and it’s like 1½ stars. I feel bad for them. And then they give us 4½ out of 5. No way! It’s ridiculous.”
