Morning Buzz: Chase Pagan, Grammys, Say Hi
:: Chase Pagan has 17 songs lined up for a new album. It might see the light of day in April. On Esparanza Plantation, no less.
:: Check out this photo of Fucked Up by Chris La Putt. Best. Picture. Ever. Eh?
:: Grammy nominations have been announced. Yeah, didn’t think you’d care.
:: Tooth & Nail has over 50 out-of-print albums available on iTunes now. Nab that Joe Christmas album. And you can get two Blenderhead records, too. I wonder what kind of car Bill Power is going to buy with the extra money from that?
:: Barsuk just added Say Hi (f.k.a. Say Hi to Your Mom, duh!) to its roster. The band’s new album, Oohs & Aahs, will hit the streets in March.

It’s finally nice to have those Ninety Pound Wuss CD’s again… “SHORT HAND OPERATION” is criminally underrated.

Muchacho Vivo and Sugarless are key 90s albums in the iPod.

I would like to point out that that 2nd Selfmindead album kicked ass. As did the 2nd Warlord album.

i agree Jay. muchacho vivo still gets spins, as well as sugarless. i actually dig quite a few songs from some later puller records as well. there were even some good tunes on the final blenderhead record “figureheads on the…” old t&n was “neato”. newer t&n is “mehhh”.
oooohhh, are they selling any eso-charis records? god knows they gotta have a few thousand of those things laying around. probably used for door props, or to keep the air conditioning window unit in place in the shipping room. hehe.

Fun Points:
I watched the home videos of the first and nearly last Warlord shows last night.
We’ve got Jeff Suffering coming down to play with his first show in two years Dec. 17th in Portland.
The show will also feature X-members of Warlord and The Clergy.
