Morning Buzz: Coldplay, Satriani, Cold War Kids, Primal Scream
:: Satriani v. Coldplay update: “Joe Satriani is a great musician, but he did not write the song Viva La Vida. We respectfully ask him to accept our assurances of this and wish him well with all future endeavors.”
:: You can stream I’ve Seen Enough, the latest single from Cold War Kids. You have do the whole log in thing to get to the stream, though.
:: Like neo-hippie shoes? Like Brett Dennen? Then this contest is for you.
:: Saw this less-than-kind tidbit about Primal Scream: “A HALF-EMPTY venue and a middle-aged audience appeared to suggest that Primal Scream were not as relevant as they’d like to think they are.” Ouch.
:: Army Navy, one of favorites as of late (even without Paul Scheer), has given us a Christmas song featuring Charlotte Froom from The Like.

Signed up for the hippie shoes. They don’t look half bad.
