Morning Buzz: New Found Glory, Napster, Girl Talk

:: Brock Lindow (36 Crazyfists) interview.

:: New Found Glory signed to Epitaph Records.

:: I love this: “One of my friends say dragon force is emo is that true.” Time for new friends.

:: Headline that best sums up the MP3 player from Microsoft: Zune Brings You More Features You Didn’t Know You Wanted: New Designs, Free Wifi At McDonalds.

:: The Music Slut has a pretty good Fujiya & Miyagi contest going on.

:: Leaking music via YouTube.

:: Excellent list of side effects of the end of TRL:

“1. The Sbarro on Broadway will probably have to cut back on staff. After all, who’s silly enough to eat their “pizza” aside from high school students with underdeveloped palates? (Michael Scott’s a fictional character, mind.)”

:: Best Buy to buy Napster, still to remain irrelevant.

    I really don’t see Napster being able to compete with iTunes. Personally, I don’t know anyone who’s doing the MP3 all-you-can-rent subscription services like Napster.

    Do you think they’ll keep it subscription or move to a per son model? Then again, how many companies do we need that proved the exact same content for $.99 per song.

    Is it bad that I think Sbarro’s pizza is really good?

    NFG to Epitaph is a good move. Epitaph is a great label with great people.
