:: Norma Jean will headline the Anti Mother Tour, with support from Flyleaf, As I Lay Dying, The Devil Wears Prada and August Burns Red. Joke about bands named after books left for the comments section.
:: Oh boy; “Someone leaked the Radiohead sound board recording from Lollapalooza in Grant Park.”
:: On The Last Day signs with Torque Records. Hellmouth signs with Ferret.
:: Underoath is doing a signing at The Virgin Megastore in NYC on Sept. 4, at 4pm. I should go and have Aaron sign my Paramore CD. LOL
:: Listen to Sleepercar - Fences Down, featuring Jim Ward (At the Drive-In and Sparta).
:: Good read > How a Barack Obama Site Made Me Famous. [link, Waxy]
:: Malcom-Jamal Warner (Cosby Show) is now a hot jazz musician.
How is Flyleaf opening for NJ?
Site about Obama site is blocked. What doth it say?
It says a guy spent four hours making a website one day and it landed him a book deal.
I think a more apt joke would be to have Underoath sign your old This Runs Through EPs.
How is “The Devil Wears Prada” bigger than “August Burns Red?”
The only band I’d see on that tour is ABR.
Easy. TDWP has been in the public’s face (not the music scene, public) longer, and they’re more marketable/accessable than August Burns Red is. I mean, if you think about it, it’s not that big of a surprise.
Hmm.. actually, I think Flyleaf, AILD, etc are only playing that one show - maybe a festival? All the Antimother tour is with Haste the Day, The Showdown, Mychildren Mybride, and Children 13:8.
Seth got it right.
Ooops. OMG. I got it wrong. Wait, is this other Seth the ANTI-SETH? Get it? THE ANTI-MOTHER? OMG.
oh snap! I think seth said Aaron looks like Hailey.
*sigh* So much Underoath hate.
MJDub has been holding down that jazz scene for years, son.
I actually saw Malcom Jamal Warner about a month ago wandering around at the building my band practices in here in Dallas. I followed him around til I heard his band. It was good. He didn’t like that I kept yelling “THEOOO!”
