My Chemical Romance Guitarist Is In A Good Band


Frank Iero, guitarist for My Chemical Romance, has more time to work on his side project now that MCR is on hiatus. That side project, Leathermouth, will release its debut album on Epitaph in January and if you’re an MCR fan, you probably won’t like it.

“I think that people that get into Leathermouth because of my past bands…I think they’ll be kind of bummed out, of that’s why they’re into it,” says Iero, who has also been involved with such bands as Pencey Prep, Hybrid and Reggie and the Full Effect. “But it’s definitely a lot different, and it’s really fun for me.”

Iero needs to go all “Don Henley”* and make this band his priority since they’re actually good.

*I like Don Henley more as a solo artist, than as an Eagle.
