New Releases: Pig Destroyer, The Bronx, Light This City

Yet another slow release week. Damn the Christmas season. The only release I’m actually excited about is Burial’s. Last year’s Untrue was a 2007 favorite. And Denison Witmer could be good.

Really, though… what else is going to be worth listening to this week? I don’t even know. An album from Kevin Costner? That could be interesting. Who wants to take bets on how many songs I get through before I have to shut that one off?

Is the Pig Destroyer release the same as the Audio DVD that was with ‘Terrifyer’?

Actually, the new Butch Walker disc came out today too. I’m definitely going to check that out.

Forgot Light This City was still releasing the cd. Wonder if it’ll be any good. Their older stuff was worth a listen. Love is Real got my hopes up, though…Love is Red RIP. Denison Witmer should be good, too.

PS: Can’t get into Terminal Function. Not bad. Just not my thing.

Just for the record, I made it through one full Kevin Costner song before I gave up.

Listening to Terminal Function now and enjoying it. Kind of reminds me of Protest the Hero in a way.
