News Flash: Lilly Allen is Insecure
When someone regularly talks shit, says outlandish things, pulls pubicity stunts and gets into trouble while doing all that, it’s hard to believe this certain someone could be (gasp!) insecure. Not too shocking, after all, when Lilly Allen said the reason she’s a “gobby bitch” (also explains the hair, by the way) is because she’s not the most confident British trouble-making chanteuse:
I have a hell of a lot of insecurities and that’s probably why I say the things I say, trying to deflect the attention away from myself.

Didn’t she say something to this effect over a year ago? I remember her canceling shows because she would drink because she was afraid of criticism from the audience. And she was blogging about how she felt pressure to be thin.
