Nickelback Singer Wants You To Put Down Guitar Hero
Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger thinks Guitar Hero is partly to blame for the music industry being the way it is.
“Start rock bands,” said the singer, “Set down the ‘Guitar Hero’ learn how to play an actual guitar and start a band, because it’s hard to find more bands to put a solid rock-and-roll package together.”
Do what Chad Kroeger says, because he knows what he’s talking about.

In ten years no one’s going to give a shit about Rock Band, most likely including the people who play it so often, but if during those ten years you spent your time practicing and learning to play instead of wasting it all on a video game, you’ll have a worthwhile and enjoyable skill. You’ll be able to make your own music with people. Who cares if you don’t get rich or popular from it? Anyone who makes music for those reasons shouldn’t be playing it anyway. To me, nothing feels better than creating something new.

By the way, less venues are surviving with the less amounts of locals, meaning less opportunities for bands to tour and/or get tour dates in certain areas.
