Norma Jean recently announced that Bless the Martyr, Oh God, The Aftermath and Redeemer will be re-released as a 4-LP set. They look pretty sexy. I know you’re thinking, “Why four LPs for three albums?”
When timing all of the albums, we noticed that “Bless the Martyr” was 58 minutes which is way too long for a single LP. With that in mind, we really didn’t want to compromise the quality of this box set and made the decision to make it 4 LPs.
I’m not a huge fan of Norma Jean. I’ll still probably pick it up, though. They say you can buy it on Suburban Home Records, but I can’t find the link. If someone finds it, let me know.
It’s The Vinyl Collective that have actually put out the box set; they are a part of Suburban Home Records.
[…] Buzzgrinder alerts us that Christian metalcore pioneers Norma Jean are releasing their entire back-catalog on vinyl as a 4-LP box set. Bless the Martyr is too long for just one vinyl, hence the fourth disc — O God, The Aftermath and Redeemer will comprise the other two. […]
Will buy this and keep for a few years to then sell on Ebay.
what is the first “box set” they released?
No 1 really cares
good call, jay. investing in that box set would be as safe as investing in oil companies. you’re guaranteed to rake in the bucks.
I’m not eligible for 401k yet, so no oil investings for me yet. I gotta start somewhere.
I thought the 4 LPs would mean they would include Luti-Kriss material. Oh well.

This was supposed to come out in November and has been plagued by never ending plant problems.
