Phil Labonte (above, with lollipop) of All That Remains talks frankly about his experience on the Vans Warped Tour:
“I think we were put on the tour to balance all the dainty girl bands or bands that had dainty boys that look like girls. I swear to God it was like a drag queen show. Almost all of the bands looked like they were girls.”
It’s good to be see the high school jock/meathead mentality rear its ugly head in the modern music scene. Sigh.

Makeup is for ladies. All I’m sayin, yo.
Agreed.
Pharaohs and dandies disagree with you.
the new ATR album is actually very good..gonna catch them with In Flames in Nov.
plus I have a crush on Jeanne..one of the coolest musicians I’ve ever met and a fellow animal lover..if I wasn’t married, I would have asked her out.
TMI? yeah, probably but who gives a fuck..its friday dammit!
now we can think about this article all weekend.
what I’m saying is this. by monday, I’ll probably hate all that remains even more.
I’m gonna go flat iron my hair for the first time and where some of my mom’s eye shadow to work I think
there’s not a single word that he said about those other bands that i don’t agree with.
See. I’ll be straight up: I flat-iron my hair. Because if I don’t, it’s a mess, and I’m not someone who can really “rock” the whole short hair look. But I’m proud to say I look like a guy and that’ll never change.
Unless my paypal account for plastic surgery actually goes through….hmmm..
ATR is good
I bet ATR saw alesana at that tour
OMG the Inflames show was totally wild, there was something wrong with Philip tho from ATR, I totally stuck by the stage just to meet him and he blew me off
I waited all night to meet him, and then that happened, I felt like crying.
I did get to have shots with Jeanne and hold her hand tho!!!
But still…. I really wanted to meet Philip….
Next time I will for sure!
