Radiohead Scores Latest Palahniuk Film Adaptation

Radiohead was originally asked by Clark Gregg — director of the film adaptation for the Chuck Palahniuk tome Choke — to do a song for the movie’s closing credits. Yorkey and the boys went one step further, writing most of the movie’s ambient music. That’s gotta make the movie’s pretentiousness factor go up exponentially. How’d this happen, you ask? Turns out it’s because even Palahniuk is a Radiohead fanboy:
Clark Gregg…knew that I’d written Choke while listening to Pablo Honey, with Creep, over and over and over. So Clark got Radiohead to contribute a song; to write a song for the very end of the movie, the final credits. Apparently Radiohead liked the movie so much, they’ve written the score, most of the ambient music throughout it. So it’s ‘Choke– with the music of Radiohead’.”
UPDATE: Seb was right, and I guess Palahniuk is on crack or something. Radiohead is only contributing Reckoner.

Chucko wrote a decent book. He just needs to stop writing it.

I’ll be the first to say it, as is so many other people, that Palahniuk continues to write the same book over and over like a record scratched to hell. But Palahniuk has done something that he should be awarded for. He got a massive group of people who normally wouldn’t ever read fiction into reading. For that I love him, and though I’m not too into Choke as a book the film looks like it will be a fun time. My heart stops for a breather whenever Rockwell is said to be in something.

Well, in fact, radiohead is only doing the end credits song and nothing more… and it’ll be Reckoner from In Rainbows.
