Before you buy your $5 cappuccino and/or $35 shirt this weekend, stop by your local record store and buy an album or three. It’s all part of Record Store Day. Some pointers:
My birthday is the 17th, so I’ll officially be partaking in this hallowed day, as I will actually have money to spend. The new ARSIS is definitely at the top of my list… a fucking melo-death metal masterpiece if you ask me.
i already blew 52 bones the other day at a.k.a.music here in philly.
does record store day accept rollovers?
“In the words of Jesus Christ and Uncle Jesse, ‘Have Mercy’”
LOLZ!!!111
They still have record stores?
okay i’ll buy from the Itunes Store.
AKA has a great vinyl section…

Does it count if I droplift used Fall Out Boy CDs at Best Buy?
a.k.a. has the best used section around. i’m a cheapskate.
“okay i’ll buy from the Itunes Store.”
That’s not really the point of Record Store Day. It’s about going out and supporting independent record shops.
I love going out used CD shopping, it’s fun, cheap, and you never know what you’ll find.
i would imagine that he/she/it was being ironical.
@ least that is what one would hope.
Yeah, I am hoping they were. We need a sarcastic font here…
Nevermind on the ARSIS cd… pretty lame when an independent record store is charging $15.99 for a fucking new release. What year are we living in? ‘92?
Have mercy.
tAlex, I put in a request to the W3C for a web-standard sarcasm tag. They are seriously considering it. I’m hoping it will be out in Web 3.0.
