Walls Of Jericho Needs Some iTunes Love

walls_of_jericho_2400.jpg

So you’re Walls of Jericho and you’re going to put out a new album.

Ben Schigel (Drowning Pool, Chimaira) as producer: Check.
Playing on a good tour: Check.
Decent label with decent distro: Check.
A somewhat iconic name in the modern hardcore scene: Check.
Available on iTunes: Ummm… not exactly.

First week sales of The American Dream: about 2400 copies.

Believe it or not that’s good enough to enter the “Billboard charts at #11 Top New Artist, #41 Independent Albums, and #53 Hard Music Albums.” Good lord. Does no one buy CDs these days?

i just want to say, as a graphic designer, I buy cd’s for more than just the music…the artwork that goes into these things keeps me in business and my family with a roof over their heads

There are so many hardcore bands out there that sound the same. No surprise they aren’t selling.
