Another One Bites the Dust: Blender Closes Up Shop
We haven’t had a big music magazine closing in a little while. But no worries, magazine haters. Here is one: Alpha Media Group has decided to shut down production of Blender Magazine.
The move cuts 30 jobs from Alpha Media, and reduces its number of magazines to one (Maxim).
In unrelated news, if you’re an advertiser out there looking for a new place to spend your money, we’re still open for business.

I don’t remember that cover of Blender. I’m shocked Avril would have done a cover like this!! I’m a little disappointed; after all her talk of “not becoming a “Hollywood Puppet” or this “girl that flaunts her body”. Oh well, that was then, times change I guess. Nevertheless, I didn’t really care for Blender. The next to go should be AP mag…

The management/label contracts talk louder than the artist.

Avril! That’s the name! Yeah, they all say they wont be slutty, but they never keep their word. Look at Spears. Even sad ass Miley Cyrus is slipping already.
