Big Surprise Tour Creates Awesome Old Timey Lineup

The Big Surprise Tour was just announced today, and boy does it pack a wallop! In addition to my longtime favorites (fanboy since 2001, so eat that other people) Old Crow Medicine Show, the tour features the Dave Rawlings Machine with Gillian Welch, the Felice Brothers and Justin Townes Earle.

But wait — it gets even more old-timey! Everyone will be on stage simultaneously, “taking part in each other’s songs, resurrecting old standards and playing newly written collaborative material as they go.”

I can’t wait to get my twang on!
