Dälek – Gutter Tactics

Score: 5.949
This is what Sage Francis might sound like if he was black and didn’t mind covering up his cocky, intelligent hip-hop poetry with more noise.
These beats are dark, experimental static like something Gang Gang Dance or Teith might do (yeah, I’m name-dropping like a true hipster douchebag), except someone is rapping over them. It’s not the first time someone has taken experimental electronics and turned it into hip-hop, and it won’t be the last, but I like where this is going.
