Glasvegas Frontman Is Missing, Band Says Not to Worry

James Allan is missing.

So it appears that Glasvegas vocalist James Allan hasn’t been seen or heard from for a few days, and some folks are starting to get worried. The band assumed Allan would show up for their Mercury Prize performance, but he was a no-show.

Even though no one has heard from James Allan in any form, the band says not to worry. Makes sense, right? Here’s the lowdown, straight from guitarist Rab Allan:

The last we heard of him was after we got off the plane on Friday. I emailed him but he didn’t reply. He is probably away with a woman, knowing James. We don’t think he’s in Glasgow. Our manager is in Glasgow and he hasn’t heard from him. We thought he would turn up at the Mercury Prize at the last minute. I miss him. The message is: James please get in touch.

UPDATE: James Allan has been found. He was gallivanting around New York.
