Holiday Shores – Edge of Our Lives
Holiday Shores has been on my radar for a little while now, and I finally got to see them — with Evangelicals, who surprisingly evoked a little Dio in their set — a couple of weeks back. It was a great set.
And apparently, lots of folks think the same thing. Holiday Shores is making a lot of “bands to watch” lists for 2010. While this song isn’t my favorite track from them, the video itself more than makes up for it.
Who would’ve thought I’d end up enjoying some Vampy Weeky pasty white boy twee with some psychedelia thrown in, but when songs are engaging, there’s not much I can do about that. I’d prefer to decry them, but I can’t.
