If there’s one thing that Bloc Party vocalist Kele Okereke knows how to do — other than writing overwrought, mildly-amusing pablum that kids eat up — it’s how to start and maintain a beef. And if there’s one other prissy frontman with plenty of firsthand knowledge about not playing nice with others, it’s The Killers’ Brandon Flowers. That’s what makes the following quote from Okereke so good:

We played with The Killers, who are an American indie band and Franz Ferdinand, who are a Scottish indie band. I didn’t watch The Killers. In fact, I made sure I left before they came onstage.

Can’t wait for the slap-boxing and hair-pulling to commence.
