It looks like Joseph Arthur and the Lonely Astronauts recently had a bad accident while on the road. Arthur blogged about it, but the details in his post are sketchy. The band seems to be alright at this point, although another driver was injured in the wreck.

I haven’t found a thing about it other than the blog post, even after scouring the web for more info. I wouldn’t have even known about it if Matthew Putman hadn’t given us a heads up. Let’s just hope everyone’s OK.

   touring van accidents are horrible, because your trailer acts like a pendulum, just throwing you all over the road. its even scarier when the driver says “we’re gonna crash” like three seconds before impact, which actually might have saved some lives considering they WERENT WEARING SEATBELTS….at least they could brace themselves. heres to a speedy recovery for the band and the female victim..
