Letterman Tries to Be Funny for Heartless Bastards’ National TV Debut, Doesn’t Really Work

From the water is wet category: David Letterman isn’t funny. But boy does he try. Anyway, while his stale jokes didn’t do much for me, this performance by the Heartless Bastards sure did. I’d love them even if they weren’t from Cincinnati. I wouldn’t love Letterman even if he was from Cincinnati. Can’t wait until Conan will be obliterating him in the ratings race.
