Limp Bizkit is Back and Classy as Ever

Sometimes we get press releases in our email that are too hard to resist. This is one such item.

Proving that they are “with it” and “know what’s up” in the world today, Fred Durst and the boys in Limp Bizkit have announced that they are playing a show at a celebratory meathead event where dudes wreck each others’ faces and call it sport, otherwise known as UFC.

The most historic event in UFC just got bigger with the announcement that rap-metal pioneers Limp Bizkit are bringing the only performance in the US of their “Unicorns N’ Rainbows” tour to Mandalay Bay Beach on Friday, July 10th to perform in their first North American concert in eight years as a part of the UFC 100 weekend.

Las Vegas, Limp Bizkit and dudes who know just enough math to put the right amount of steroids in a needle. Keep it classy, Fred!

If you need me, I’ll be in the garage getting out my big jeans, upside down visor and bleach kit.

Big jeans, visors, bleached hair….mmmm, makes me nostalgic for an era when I listened to metalcore and felt so cultured and “scene.”

Why is this the only US date? This is a pivotal time in American history and we needs this…

Because Europe and other continents probably will receive them better? Plus, they probably wanted to tour the world, see some scenery.

you are aware that bjj is probably the most popular fighting style in mma, specifically ufc. those are pretty much the last guys that would want to use steroids. and as opposed to most sports, ufc actually does a very good job checking on that. nate(or nick, i forget) diaz is out of the ufc because of pot of all things. but i guess once again you’re just stating your opinion on something you know nothing about.

It’s no secret that I know very little about UFC. The extent of my knowledge is that I lived a couple blocks away from Chuck Liddell for three years. He is a large man, he drives a Hummer and he likes to drink a lot.

wait, does bjj stand for “big jangly jeans?”

right on Josh. it just always bugs me when people talk shit about ufc(mma in general really), but yet don’t watch it at all. of course when you think ufc the first thing you think of is horrible music, horrible hair, and horrible tattoos. all of those things are horrible. but if you watch some fights, especially if they’re skilled bjj fighters, you’ll see it’s much more of a chess match than anything else. ground game > striking

“OMG WE ARE STILL RELEVANT GUYS!” LOL

Also, I still say Sean Canoon is as snugly as Taylor Swift. And that’s really saying something.
