Loney, Dear Featured On ABC News
Granted, I wasn’t too thrilled seeing the founder of Pitchfork on ABC News. It was one-half my utter jealousy at the empire he created, and another half my hatred for Pitchfork and its pretentiousness and the way I need to not have ADD to get through one of their reviews. But now this “New Music Monday” thing seems to be going on the right track.
Yesterday they featured Polyvinyl’s Loney, Dear, which I think is a good band. I just noticed that he looks kind of like what Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly’s baby would look like if they chose to conceive a child and that kind of technology existed. Anyway, since I don’t think they give you embedding privileges — check out the interview and the feature and listen to some good music for once.
