Morning Buzz: Amy Winehouse, AFI, Bouncing Souls
:: Amy Winehouse just isn’t content to let Lily Allen steal all the trashy-female-British-pop-star headlines. She’s planning to start a record label.
:: AFI made a good decision. The band recently scrapped all the material for its latest album. But there was a corresponding bad decision: AFI is recording some new stuff instead. Wah Wahhhh.
:: Bouncing Souls will be hitting the road for the band’s 20th anniversary world tour with Dillinger Four and The A.K.A.s. And there’s a date at my favorite place in Louisville: Skull Alley.
:: I couldn’t read the news item that this outstanding picture went along with because I was so mesmerized by it.
:: One of my favorite movies last year was King of Kong. I just saw this trailer for the “sequel,” K2: Judgment Day. [link, You Ain't No Picasso]
