Morning Buzz: Beck, Rob Halford, Mastodon
:: It looks like there might be some friction between Beck and The Fiery Furnaces.
:: But there’s no question about the friction between Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford and Varg Vikernes of Burzum/Mayhem/arson/prison fame.
:: It seems like everything has to be NSFW these days. Tsk tsk tsk, Yeasayer.
:: The Showdown recently had to drop off of an upcoming tour with Oh, Sleeper, Impending Doom and A Plea for Purging due to “some serious family issues” involving the band’s drummer.
:: Go ahead and pre-order that Royal Edition of Mastodon‘s Crack the Skye. You know you want it.
:: Epitaph just signed Alkaline Trio. Hopefully that’ll necessitate some more shoes and merchandising deals — and maybe even a series of Alk3 frozen dinners.

jay, you mean retardedly ugly, like it’s just one big image? oh wait, yup.
i know a guy who loves to argue about punk vs. hardcore and that punk is thriving more than hardcore. he pretty much always points to alkaline trio to maintain his argument. it made me want to punch him in the face with a pool ball one night. yeah.

No, I mean actually broken, not bad design-wise.
I think something is blocked on my work compy, so it’s stretching the table cells to make up for the missing image/file. In other browsers I’m getting a placeholder.
Hmm…
