Morning Buzz: Springsteen, The Cramps, Brian Eno, Coldplay
:: Everyone was accusing Bruce Springsteen of selling out — including me — because he played the Super Bowl and, logic would dictate, got massive amounts of dollar bills (or maybe rolls of dimes and nickels). Turns out, he got way less than anyone would have guessed. Like zero dollar bills (or zero rolls of dimes and nickels).
:: Lux Interior, frontman of the Cramps, has passed away. His age has been reported as both 60 and 62, as well as 52 by someone way uninformed. Wikipedia says 60, but the Google search result for his Wikipedia page says 62.
:: Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers will be getting together for duet purposes again. Too easy.
:: Brian Eno reportedly won’t allow Chris Martin in the studio while the other Coldplay dudes, whatever their names are, record the new album. Even easier.
:: Stryper’s frontman had a show postponed in Massachusetts. Easiest of them all.
:: Random tracks that don’t suck:
XYZ Affair – Evening Life
Drink Up Buttercup – Young Ladies
The Mae Shi – Run To Your Grave

I hope when I’m old I can still slide around into cameras.
I dug the half-time show it looked like Bruce was having a great time!
