Morning Buzz: Gossip, Blur, Matador, Destiny’s Child, Iron and Wine

:: Money quote from The Gossip’s Beth Ditto: “If you see period stains you let me know!” Classy.

:: Blur’s feature-length documentary about the band’s reformation will hit theaters in early 2010.

:: So I’m not quite as sure about the second track from Motion City Soundtrack’s new album as the first one, but I’m more sure about it than anything from their last record.

:: Want to ask Moneen questions? Me either.

:: When bands cover Destiny’s Child, everyone wins. Right? No wait, I’m thinking Wham! Sorry.

:: Aquarium Drunkard discusses Iron and Wine’s The Creek Drank the Cradle. I love that record, but I think their assessment is true and sad. It helped spark a change in the direction of indie rock, pointing folks down the whole “where are my testicles?” path.
