Morning Buzz: Metallica, Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Converge

:: Everyone was at SXSW. Even Metallica and Devo.

:: Culture Bully has a nice live review (and some blurry photos) of Bonnie “Prince” Billy. That crazy Will Oldham.

:: Converge has a new album that is “coming soon.” And there’s a teaser video to prove it.

:: USAISAMONSTER is breaking up.

:: I was willing to believe in a Smashing Pumpkins without James Iha. But without Jimmy Chamberlain, the name should be Billy Corgan Strokes His Ego. Then again, I guess that’s been the unofficial name for a little while now anyway.

    I think the rule of thumb is: if you can sneak a few blurry photos it beats no photos at all :-)

    agreed. just wanted to make sure people didn’t get upset when they didn’t find the usual high quality shots that culture bully usually provides. ;)
