Morning Buzz: Nine Inch Nails, Morrissey, From First to Last
:: Matador seems to think that Victory Records head Tony Brummel is an alright dude. At least when compared to Johnny Kitagawa.
:: Rawkblog has some photos of Andrew Bird during his in-studio performance at KCRW.
:: Nine Inch Nails and Jane’s Addiction on tour together. Now that’s a combination. Especially if it ends up being the last NIN tour ever. Which it could be.
:: Miley Cyrus’ Twitter account got hacked. That’s sweeter than a puppy’s behind.
:: Morrissey says he plans to hang it up in about five years. No word on whether or not he’ll still hold strange babies after retirement.
:: Seems that From First to Last isn’t too pleased with Absolute Punk (or at least commenters on the site). I guess that’s what you get for selling autographed CDs for $3.
:: Random tracks that don’t suck:
Q and Not U – Soft Pyramids
Shellac – Rush Job
Apples in Stereo – Mirror

Haven’t bands learned to ignore the internet yet? Kids will talk trash no matter what you do.

having spent some time on the road with fftl i can say that they completely deserve any and all trash that gets talked about them. specifically that douchebag who wrote the response you’re linking to. that guy is one of douchiest, most egomaniacal band guys i’ve ever come in contact with in general, and certainly the worst from the whole “nu-emo screamo warped tour” crew of bands.
